I've always been intrigued by Newton. A man of mixed employment and conflicting thoughts. And a great hymn-writer.

Amen! God works all things together for good for those who are the called according to His purpose, and He may allow His children to go through trials so that they will have a compassionate heart, strengthened faith as they draw closer to Him, and experience to counsel those in a similar situation.
