Summary:  Genuine believers must understand the absolute certainties of the Christian life to live faithfully in a world of chaos and contradiction

This is a good reminder for us all that our Christian experience is an experience of absolute certainties that we can count on which gives us the assurance to live faithfully in a world of chaos and contradiction

Proposition:  Genuine believers must understand the absolute certainties of the Christian life to live faithfully in a world of chaos and contradiction

Interrogatory Sentence:  What are the certainties provided by John that believers have in order to live godly in this world of chaos and contradiction?

Transitional Sentence:  This passage supplies us with three (3) facts that will provide you with the absolute certainty needed to live godly in this world:

1.  ...genuine believers are certain of abiding life
2.  ...genuine believers are certain of answered prayer
3.  ...genuine believers are certain of absolute victory
