True Gregg. We are seeing that hardening more and more, it's spoken of in Romans ch 1, and it is God's judgment against those who reject Him. The restrainer is being removed, and people are continuing to harden themselves against the truth of God's word.
The world does not like to think of God as One who hardens hearts, or has wrath against Sin against Him, or sentences anyone to Hell. But have we lost sight that Almighty, Sovereign, Creator God is Lord of all and deserves glory, honor and praise as our Heavenly Father Maker, Providence, Sustainer, Refuge, Redeemer, and Salvation, full of love and mercy for those who repent, accept the gift of Jesus and believe by faith? Have we forgotten ... or ever really truly known ... God is Lord? This causes me to search my heart and cry to Him for help.
Exodus 14:4 "I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and he will pursue them. But I will gain glory for myself through Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord.”
