Without going into tedious detail, this is a good illustration of one of the reasons that I left my faith for about fifteen years: Christians. Well, "religious" people. (But for my part, I was also wanting people to live up to what I thought they should be like, and not allowing people to be people.)
I have had some of my deepest hurts from people who call themselves Christians. Especially judgmental ones.
Gregg, I think she's describing our family at church! Ours would read:
"I was shocked to see Susie coloring a picture during church and searching through her mother's pocket book. But then I saw Billy reading in Genesis when the Pastor was preaching from Matthew, and Timmy took his sister's quarter and put it in the offering plate with his own. And did you see all the crumbs on the floor after the Lord's Supper?"

Pretty funny. Thanks for the laugh this morning.
Gotta love those "prayer requests". :)
Hi Gregg! Thanks for the wonderful laugh. And this is a good reminder to not only watch our own words, but our thoughts too!!
