- They are ignorant of biblical truth
- They have been taught incorrectly
- They do not believe what the Scripture says
- They settle to easily for everything other than Scripture
- They will not pay the price to remain faithful
- They take promises of God for granted
- They love sin and unrighteousness more than holiness and righteousness
