Have A Safe and Sane Labor Day Weekend!

The Gospel-driven Disciples Blog will be closed today in order for the proprietor of this blog and his family to celebrate this "holiday" in a most appropriate way!

We will be "kicking back," resting and relaxing!

Rest assured I will do my part in to honor and celebrate the social and economic achievements of American workers with this holiday which constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.

I shall celebrate and give an honorable nod to the working class by  using my recliner built by the working man, watching my TV made by the working man, grilling lunch on a grill made by the working man, eating delicious food grown or raised by the working man!

I will be grilling steaks on the BBQ. In addition we will have buttered and salted corn on the cob, potato salad, and water-melon!

I hope to make some headway into John Owen's Sin and Grace,Volume 7 of his collection of works.

Hope you have a very safe and sane holiday weekend. Please be safe, and remember, I would rather talk to you than about you!

  1. Happy Labor Day to you too. I'll be doing a little work to get ahead with my work week, assembling a book shelf, possibly some baking, and reading.
