Reading a little book entitled "A Sure Guide to Heaven" by Joseph Alleine (also went by the title "Alarm"). Wonderful little book that really asks the hard questions and by which Alleine quizzes his readers to really examine themselves to see if we are in the faith truly, or if perhaps we are kidding ourselves, and if such be the case, to humbly cry out to God for healing in honest despair, for we cannot attain to heaven unless we have been made new, born again of the spirit, which is only by and through the miraculous work of God.
ReplyDeleteSusan - thanks again for stopping by. You are always so encouraging. Yes, I have that book also it is great!
ReplyDeleteSo many tares in the church today, so sad! They don't know that God must make them a believer and not a decision or prayer.
