To lead my children to the LORD...by example, words, whatever it takes to disciple them. ☺
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday! ☺
My goal is to strengthen my relationship with my Savior and to be a better wife and person.
ReplyDeleteI used to have a lot of goals in life, in fact when I was 18 I made a list of things to accomplish in my life. I accomplished all of them by 27: education, success, wealth, house, etc. Unfortunately, I hadn't planned beyond that. Besides they didn't make me as happy as I thought they would; in fact they made me into a horrible person. At 28 I met Jesus Christ, and now 5 years later, I'm comfortable letting Him set goals for my life and following where He leads me.
ReplyDeleteManifest Blog
Love God with all my soul, heart, mind, and strength.
ReplyDeleteTo stand before God one day with my family in tow and hear, "Well, done, Michael. Well done."
ReplyDelete(I wonder if I could get a progress report...)
To glorify God and enjoy Him forever. Ok, someone else wrote that. But it still defines my goal. Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. As long as that's our goal, all the other goals fall into their right place.
ReplyDeleteLong term: To live in such a way that God would glorify him self in and thru my life.
ReplyDeleteshort term: to take the steps that are my responcability to take so the long term goal can happen, Lord willing.
My life's goal, to stay in children's ministry as long as God keeps me alive and to not be swayed by little pay, adversity, or people thinking that I'm immature. And that is a hard goal but I need to remember to rely on God to keep me going.
ReplyDeleteI'll be 65 in October. My life's goal is to keep the faith and finish well.
ReplyDeleteTo please Him in all things. To labor for His Gospel.
ReplyDeleteTo glorify God in whatever season of life or circumstance God has placed me.
ReplyDeleteMy mission statement hasn't changed much since I penned it in the early 90s. Even so, the way that I have lived it out has been different since I have learned to live from my heart.
ReplyDeleteTo do as He pleases. Em, that's my goal, the spirit is willing the flesh...well...that's another story. :-)
