Housekeeping and Chores Like That

The Gospel-driven Disciples blog would like to use today’s blog to accomplish three important goals;

First, I want to thank all who stopped by, read, and commented on this blog during the April 2011 A-Z Challenge. I was truly humbled and blessed by your wonderful remarks and the blessings you derived from reading this blog. Praise and glory go to our wonderful Lord and Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Second, I want to remind you of the buttons that are located under the banner at the top of this blog. I sincerely hope that you take time to click on each button and explore the various topics for blessing and benefit. Be sure to check weekly at least to see if you material has been added. Be sure to look at:

Books – If you are wondering what to read or what to recommend to someone to read, here is an ever-growing list culled from my own personal reading, reading lists from topic evangelical theologians. Use this resource as inspiration for gifts for those whom you are discipling, ministering to, or even family members. Just remember, just because it is on the list doesn’t mean I have put a 100% endorsement on either the author or the book.

Churches – People move and/or travel around the country and many ask for a church recommendation. If your church has a website I can check out, and you would like it included, drop me a note along with the website address.

Links -  I know that we could spend days looking at every “good” and recommended link, but here are some that could be of tremendous value to you. Although our tastes and needs differ, there are some links included that will be of tremendous value.

Third, I would like to welcome aboard some  tremendous blogs that are new to me and give them a plug in order for you to be blessed as I was. You will find them in my Blog Roll or favorite blogs.

  4. Thanks for directing my eye to the tabs. I don't think I'd noticed them before. After examining your reading list for the previous year, all I want to say is: Slacker! (NOT!)

  5. Nice housekeeping post, Gregg! I'm glad to see your sidebar stuff back. It's great to see the blogs that you like to read, and I also like your book list, too.

    Thank you for the reminder that just because you list a book doesn't mean you agree with everything in it....aren't there quite a few that require that caveat?

    Great picture of all those Puritan Paperbacks!

    Thankful for your blog!

  8. Also, I have a question, where did you get the picture on your sidebar with the Five Solas?

  9. Gregg, I think it's a great idea that you're willing to recommend churches if you have access to their websites. This is a much needed ministry these days.

  10. Thank you for the great posts during A to Z.

    A church directory? I may have a couple of links to send to you. That sounds like it might be a helpful service to provide.
