The Vision of Obadiah

It has been suggested by our good friend Larri from Seams Inspired that we study Obadiah in November. This is such an obscure Old Testament prophecy that we rarely dig around in its rich soil for diamonds or gold.

The plan remains the same - read it everyday this week. We will review and comment on it on Saturday. The schedule will look like this:

6th - verses 1-9
13th - verses 10-14
20th - verses 15-18
27th - verses 19-21

Please, journal your thoughts, questions, what you have learned and with what you have been blessed. Then share those each Saturday with all of us. Stretch your comments from "thanks and appreciation" to blessing us with what you have gleaned.

Also, help get the word out. Let's see if we can get 12 blogger friends to read, study, and share each Saturday with all of us, what do you say?

Thirty Days of Thanksgiving

I am thankful that God in His infinite mercy and grace chose me to be the recipient of salvation and that He, through the Holy Spirit applied the benefits of the cross and His Son's sacrifice to me, enabling me to repent and trust by faith the marvelous work of atonement.

  1. Thanks, Gregg!...couldn't resist ;o)

I read through Obadiah last night, and have to admit I didn't understand most of it. I'll stick to the schedule and journaling and perhaps I'll understand it by Saturday. Happy Monday! :o)
