I always imagine a blind leader of the pack of sheep leading, if their faith and what they value contrast with Christ's. So, where are [this nation]we going? Nowhere...May the Lord touch their lives. That's where true change comes from, not the presidential promise spoken. Blessings to you.
ReplyDeleteDare I say she may add "SOME COMMON SENSE?"
ReplyDeleteA woman always add that bit of quality that a man can never acquire.
Yvonne.
PS Enjoyed the post Gregg.
I don't have very good expectations from most politicians nowadays. However, I trust in God's sovereignty. He establishes rulers and judges to achieve His ends even if these leaders think they can pursue their own agendas. God is in control, not the politicians.
ReplyDeleteFamily Research Council President Tony Perkins said Kagan is "woefully inexperienced." He compared her to Obama, saying that like him, "she, too, may have charmed her way into one of the most powerful positions in America with a clever charisma that hides her ultimate agenda: to reshape the court with a profoundly radical bent."
ReplyDeleteI agree with Tony Perkins. ~Ron
RCUBEs - You nailed it! We aren't going anywhere! Unless it is downhill at a rapid clip.
ReplyDeleteYvonne - I won't argue that common sense would be a nice addition, but politicians don't abide by common sense - they abide by the special interest groups that got them elected. In our country any more that is godless or amoral people with no sense of right or wrong, just a keen sense of expediency.
PM - You are right and I am with you. God is in control regardless of who is in office. Paul never worried about Nero.
OG - I agree with you and Tony Perkins. I think this is a mistake.
