Due to Circumstances...

News Item

There is no post for today. Those responsible for the Gospel-driven Disciples sincerely apologize for this. Circumstances beyond our control have forced us to forgo today’s post.

I usually take Friday or Saturday mornings and right the weeks post and have them post automatically. This Friday we had company from California. My aunt and cousin came to visit their grandchildren and children. We ended up with my aunt, her two daughters, and her two grandchildren, three of my children along with their children, my cousin and her family. I grilled hamburgers and ‘dogs on the grill and we had a grand time.

Saturday I woke up sicker than a dog. Even though I have owned a number of dogs, I have never really inquired how sick a dog really is. I have slept off and on from Friday night until right now. I haven’t eaten since Friday night except for a little ice cream, for my throat of course. Thank God the bible study was cancelled... I can’t think let alone teach.

Lord willing the Gospel-driven disciples will be back in busy come tomorrow morning. Then I can write the weeks post in advance. I am working on an article concerning false teachers, TBN, and such.

For all of you who clicked to come here expecting to find something of value and benefit, I am truly humbled and sorry. I hope to make the rounds of your blogs tomorrow also and catch up. Love you all! May God bless you for your kindness towards me!

  1. Get well, brother! We will be praying for you in the "mean time"...and sometimes it gets even meaner. Get the rest you need. You are more important than your blog posts.

  6. Praying for you. Of course, if you grill dogs and eat them, what do you expect? (I spent three years on a Sioux reservation, where they actually do eat dogs. And trust me, you would end up sick!) Get better!
