Last night I sat by the fire with my little girl
She wanted to look at photos in a picture book
So I dusted off an album and I handed it to her
I wasn’t ready when she said Daddy take a look
Starring back at me was a man I barely knew
Someone from another life from another time
I saw the unhappiness written all over his face
It was easy for me to see sin had been so unkind

Wonderful Gregg, we all change in different times of our lives but I suppose a spiritual change is a more profound change,

Yvonne - thank God we change and we are not what we once were and we aren't even what we will be, but thank God His grace transforms us.
ReplyDeleteI have discovered since Lee started these music blogs that I am pretty one dimensional when it comes to music. I don't listen to the radio, I only by the music I like which is old, hard core honky tonk country. So not listen to the radio I have never heard for example a song by Abba. I kind of resent a rock band that chose that name. I know, I need to get out more!
