That's preposterous. Unless of course you are an airline steward. In direct opposition to the Second of the Four Spiritual Laws. Man is sinful and separated from God.
Therefore, he cannot know and experience
God's love and plan for his life.

Man is Sinful
"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).

Man was created to have fellowship with God; but, because of his own stubborn self-will, he chose to go his own independent way and fellowship with God was broken.
This self-will, characterized by an attitude of active rebellion or passive indifference,is an evidence of what the Bible calls sin.

Man Is Separated "The wages of sin is death" [spiritual separation from God] (Romans 6:23).

God is holy and man is sinful. A great gulf separates the two. The arrows illustrate that man is continually trying to reach God and the abundant life through his own efforts, such as a good life, philosophy, or religion
-but he inevitably fails.

The third law explains the only way to bridge this gulf... Jesus.

Jesus (the Savior of the world) is missing in Kinnaman's presentation. Humanist and naturalist may talk about the Bible but fail to accept the person that the Bible talks about.

Bottom line: John 3:31-36 "The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth, and speaks as one from the earth. The one who comes from heaven is above all. He testifies to what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony. The man who has accepted it has certified that God is truthful. For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God[a] gives the Spirit without limit. The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him."Brian Ray Toddhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01242157834688837290noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7930553747640588156.post-72948899815088685742010-09-28T15:27:46.807-07:002010-09-28T15:27:46.807-07:00The Bible is the cornerstone of my life.

It took 8 months of consistent transformation before my eyes to really open my eyes. Maybe that is what young people need - people in their lives who have been transformed by the Spirit through the word of God.kc bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17440862813109808755noreply@blogger.com
