Are You Suffering from an Identity Crisis?

"Christians are weak because they do not rightly understand
their new identity in Christ. It is impossible to live as God
intends us to live unless we know who we are in Christ."

--John MacArthur, Jr.

  2. Is it possible to be "in Christ" and not know it?

When we abide "in Christ", our life bears witness to the fact that God's Spirit of Holiness lives in us.

    Have a wonderful Sonday :-)

  3. Ron - I don't think John is saying that a believer many not know that he is "in Christ." I think what John means is that we may not know "who" we are and therefore not know how to appropriate all that we have, all that we are, and all that we can tap into.

This is why Paul prayed so fervently and frequently for the Ephesian believers in Eph 1 - he wanted them to know the wealth that was their's as being in Christ.
