I will be sitting down with the Pastor and one of the Elders of the church council, after the start of the year to discuss what's on the Pastor's mind and goals. We need to be an active part of the body of Christ and purposeful servants of the Lord in this community of faith for the community out and around the church. That's int he works, so now time to set some personal goals also. Thank you Pastor Gregg.Brian Ray Toddhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01242157834688837290noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7930553747640588156.post-89982720802527792862010-12-10T19:40:20.106-08:002010-12-10T19:40:20.106-08:00Here are a few goals.

And I especially admire the ones who actually keep them.

I've never been very good at it myself. I do real good at short term goals but not so good at long term ones.

I do have one goal I would like to accomplish next year and that is to read the Bible through in a year. I've probably read the Bible through over 20 times, but in the past few years I've got out of the habit of a daily Bible reading schedule to read it through in a year.

I give you permission to bug me (by email) once or twice a week next year and ask me. "how's your daily Bible reading going Ron" I think they call that being accountable to someone about something?

Have a great weekend

~RonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7930553747640588156.post-90074704135913031402010-12-10T06:24:01.837-08:002010-12-10T06:24:01.837-08:00Great challenge, Gregg! Mine would be financial= to spend less on me and more on God and others. physical = to treat my body as a temple of the Holy Spirit and lastly and most important = to glorify God through my life (wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend) and make myself more available to people and not hold it against them that they are not available for me. God is always available. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7930553747640588156.post-62717505810478415802010-12-10T04:30:22.632-08:002010-12-10T04:30:22.632-08:00I hadn't really thought about it, Gregg.
